A POEM by ASHLEY VARELA

NY152

fuck it, let’s be corny.

let's day drink through the farmer’s market,

let’s juggle mangoes without paying for them.

let's nap in the park,

wake up with daisies in our hair.

let's take a selfie,

let’s dig it up in six months &

marvel at the changing landscapes

of our faces.

let's netflix & chill,

well, let’s scrub through rom-coms

till we get bored,

fall asleep in each other’s arms.

let’s wake up in each other’s arms,

burn the coffee,

disrobe another day.
